Fields of noise

I would add, that sometime noise is the information. In these images an array/field of boxes is created, using the noise3, noise 4 and fractalNoise functions that MaxScript provides. The function is affecting each time the scale of the boxes.

    Iam working on my thesis that is about translation of noise to architecture,and im just on the begining,can you informe if exist any other similar script about noise for rhino or can you orientate me with which script should i work.I would really appreciate your help.

  • maxscript has some nice built-in noise functions. You can take a look here , under '3d noise functions'.

  • I do speak greek :-) The link above is for maxscript, not rhinoscript. but keep in mind that noise in 3d software is not referring necessary to 'sonic noise'.
